I am back home and I am taking this week off to rest. Put the bike in the shop yesterday for maintenance and a couple of goodies. I will pick it up this afternoon, but I am coming straight home. I may get out later this weekend for a ride, but for now I am going to let my brain atrophy. You guys ride safe and and enjoy the Holiday!

Sure is quiet here in Central Tejas. Everybody must be working hard getting ready for Xmas... I will have 16 days off. Starting 12-16-09. Thinking of a ride down to the Big Bend area. Weather permiting. Anybody up for a 3-4 day ride? It will the week following Xmas. Nothing set in stone.

I don't think I can pull off riding to the Big Bend, but sure sounds temping to call in sick... I mean "riding". I just sold my last week of vacation, so I don't loose it. Between major breakdowns at work, and my Dad in ICU for the past 6 days, ... my brain and body are FRIED

I was nearly successful in pulling it off, but had to settle for pickling it instead. After I got my bike back from the shop, I had to complete the wiring on my license plate light to get my inspection sticker. Since I had the time, I decided to install the turn signal relocation kit so I could install detachable side plates, sissy bar and luggage rack in order to make longer rides next year. All finished!

I don't have the sideplate/sissy bar/luggage rack contraption yet, so there's not much to see. When the wife gets over me buying a new guitar, the new stuff will happen. I do have a couple of pictures of the new PRS 513...
