Who all is going to the Rumble on the River in Bandera on 19 - 21 September? I'm already registered gonna take a week of leave hit that up then ride to Arkansas for Bikes Blues and BBQ.

 

Hey there. New to San Antonio and found this while looking around to find out where the other bikers are. Moved in from the east coast.

Hope to meet the local people and clubs soon. I'll look up this HillBillyz place. I also heard maybe Hills & Dales on Wednesdays?

If Pegasus isn't up your alley there are some great rides within an hour or two of San Antonio.

- Ride west to Vanderpool / Bandera / Leakey hit the twisted sisters and also the Bent Rim Grill in Leakey is a good hangout.

- Fredericksburg is a must, a good route from SA is to Boerne and then cut north on 7 stop at Luckenbach for a beer then hit F-Burg for some German food.

 

Much appreciated. Cutting north on 7, looking at a map, are you talking about 1376/Sisterdale rd. ?

if ya like tourist traps, you are definitely gonna wanna hit Fredricksburg.

yessir 1376 outta Boerne will get you to Luckenbach.

there you can buy a 40 dollar tShirt with LUCKENBACH in big letters.

the tag inside will say - made in nigaraga.

Myownself, for a good burger, I hit Alamo Springs Cafe.

that's near Fredricksburg on Alamo Road I believe.
