I ride normally from home to work and back or to school and back, and so on... Schedule eats up most of my leisure time... But, I still manage to put miles on my bike. I do most of the maintenance on my scoot, but bigger projects like customization and body work are a little over my head. Anyone recommend any shops here in San Antonio? Ain't going to a dealer...

 

Hey all, San Antonio based rider here and brand new member of HD forums. I've been lurking for a while, and figured it was time to finally sign up. I figured what better place to slap my forum intro then in the SA thread, lol.

@Kmark, I shopped around the SA area for a while getting quotes for the same upgrade (I wanted to put ape hangers on my bike). I finally settled with a place called Benz & Bikes, and I'm very satisfied with the work they did. I would recommend checking them out.

I've got a garage, enclosed trailer, lift, and enough tools to make most mechanics jealous.

I've been on street bikes for 29 years, and currently have in the garage a '14 Street Glide Special (FLHXS) and a '14 Ultra Limited (FLHTK).
My past Harleys are:
'11 Road Glide Ultra
'09 Deluxe
'07 Heritage
'99 Sporty

 

As would I, but it seems the SA riders have vanished :/

Just saw this, lol. See what I mean about this thread being a ghost town? We should try and plan a ride a week or two in advance.

 

It ain't a ghost town yet..... Been busy with a new job. Riding weather is here. Will be going to the Texas mile this weekend in Beeville. I will be up for rides. Don't know about any of the others that use to hang out here. Haven't seen any post from any of the Old Farts & *******.
