Well, it's 9:15 here and it looks like a beautiful sunrise over a LAKE!
As everyone knows, we really need to get started early for this ride and by the time the streets and roads dry enough, there won't be enough time to do all three sisters.
Although one sister would probably suffice for this old man, and I'm certainly not as fast as some of you guys to handle all three as I too would prefer more ideal conditions for this event.

As Hoyt Axton once sang:
Some are built like this
some are built like that
the way I'm built you can call me fat
'cause I'm built for comfort
I ain't built for speed......

Spring's upon us Guy's and Gal's.....plenty of time ahead.
Let's see what next weekend brings and maybe old buddy Hondo 1 will make it out for a ride!!
I could certainly use a few Tax Tips!!!!
Catch ya'll again soon!

Well it has stopped raining in San Marcos. To late to start a ride to the Sisters. Roads are still nasty. Another day to plan for.

Well if I seen your post earlier rooti , I would have joined y'all today. I got out for short ride around, nice and sunny. Stopped by Bubbas for a cold one and meet a few old friends that like to hang out on the river.

Would have been great if yesterrday morning was like yesterday afternoon....... Dammit.

On 3-23 thru the 25th is the Texas Mile. I will be going on the 24th & 25th if possible.

Anybody wanna join in? It's in Beeville at the old Chase Field off SH183. Easy to get to.

Hell yeah!
Now that sounds like it would be a blast!
Are you planning on spending the night somewhere since you are talking about 2 days?
Doubt you are going to find any accomodations around Beeville, Goliad or George West with the popularity of this event.
But who knows.
Watcha thinkin?

Was thinkin about leaving around 1 on Saturday. Didn't think about a room. I think they shut down at 5. Start back up at 10 am. Will have to look at the web site again.
