......well, I started off just going to lunch with a couple of old high school friends this morning, went to Hooters for some chicken wings but just couldn't get out of there quick enough......I can't imagine why!
So, after a great lunch, these friends asked me if I wanted to just run up to Cowboy's H/D.......... just to take advantage of a great day to ride.
Well, One of them decided to get his lubricants changed while we were there, and the other one ended up trading his RoadKing in on a 09 StreetGlide!!!
Geez, so much for just a quick ride!! Just got back home around 7:30!
I managed to keep my blinders on and refrained from looking around at too much, but I did leave a lot of slober all over a 2006 CVO FatBoy that only had 445 miles on it!!!!!
I got out of there with NO deposits or anything like that.....other than the drool!!
It was a good day.
Looking forward to another good day tomorrow!
There will be 3 or 4 of us leaving my house around 10:00 and should be in Luckenbach around 10:30.
Hope to see ya'll there.

Short one?
........just gotta make the best with what you have.
After all, a short one is better than none.
......and in 45 degree weather, sometimes that's all some of us can muster .
Ok, now to the ride ..............as usual, another great ride and great food for sure.
How about that special New Years Day black eyed pea soup!!
The owner of L.D.A's is a real nice guy for sure.......that soup really hit the spot!
See ya (and hope to see even more OF's and W's ) on the next one!!!

Well guys it’s been a real pleasure meeting all of you and getting to ride around the hill country. I had some damn good times as we rode around these back roads and shared some damn good conversation, meals and laughter. I will truly miss all of y’all and hope to roll back down this way for a reunion someday. I’ll be checking in from time to time to see how things are going. I will be transferring back to Dallas to start a new chapter within the company, this maybe a good sign of the economy beginning to make a comeback………….I hope. Been working those 12 and 14 hour days, the last two months as we finish out the contract. Now it’s all about packing and dealing with the realtors and all that goes with relocating. I hope to get in just one more ride before we move, and that may not be until March or April.
Well y’all take care and keep that rubber side down, Cheer’s from south Tejas…………for now!
