Great pictures guys!
BUT, I know something else that was there, that didn't show up in H-Man's pictures.......................................... ................................
THE WIND!!!!!
Whoever said that pictures don't lie......they're wrong!!
I KNOW the wind was blowing a lot harder than those flags are showing in front of the Mission at Goliad.
The flags in one of "Pinky's" pictures is more like what I remember!!!

My nostrils know first hand, what an intake manifold feels like on a supercharged engine!!!

Zoom zoom!!

I think of it as a training mission for our next crossing of the Queen Isabella causeyway between Port Isabell and South Padre Island.

Touche' !!
.......been there, done that for sure.
Spent 7 days down there in a condo before and during the M/C rally in October of 2008, must have ridden that thing at least two dozen times while we were there!!
It sure was fun though!

Yeah.....what formike said.
It's difficult (for most that aren't retired yet anyway!!) to get a day off anymore during the week.
Even some weekends are difficult at times for a lot of the members following this thread.

As Mike said, what part of Texas are ya at?
(yeah, I know, improper Grammer.....but I feel fairly safe knowing that there probably aren't too many English Grammar teachers on this thread!!!)

Keep an eye on the thread for rides. We post a few during the month. More than welcome to join in. We ride the Hill Country the most. Should have a ride on Easter weekend if possible. I will ride somewhere that weekend. Hopefully I will run in to Big Red if he is around this part of the country
