I think I am posting this correctly, forgive me if I'm wrong, Mud. I am looking for a shop in the SA area that does good paint/ tin replacement. I have Emerald Blue Flip 100yr tins and am looking to buy different ones and have them painted black denim. I talked to a guy at Chop Shop Ironworks and he seemed pretty reasonable, but I am new to the Harley world and San Antonio and don't want to make a "beginner's mistake." If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Thanks, in advance.

I'm out here. My back has finally stopped hurting, and now the weather forcast keeps changing a couple of times a day (typical for this time of year). I need to rack up some miles... badly!!!! Our work schedules have gotten real screwy over the past few months and messing up our riding.

I could maybe be coaxed out of "slacker-dom" with a couple of rings of 60/40 jalapeno smoked/dry sausage!
(........or without the hollerin' pena's if ya ain'ts got's some of that variety!)

i am looking for a good independent shop in the san antonio area...i would want him to be able to do all services and change tires. will buy oil, filters, tires, etc. from him-just tired of paying the dealer twice what something is worth.

Dan,

You could also check out Aaron at Blue Collar Bike Werks. His shop is in New Braunfels off of San Antonio St., it a short ride down the road and you can enjoy a beer and hang out and maybe learn a thing or two about your bike while he works on it. I like to ride out there and just say hi and hang out at the shop sometimes. Seems I learn something every time I go there.
