Beautiful day to ride today, ran into a couple of the "OF&W's"....... Eddie A and (I forgot the other gentleman's name, but he rides that wicked "other customized, blacked out" Fat Bob similar to Eddies!!!) on the Benefit ride for the Canyon Lake No Kill Animal Shelter today.
Talked with them for a bit, but I don't think either one of them are gonna be able to make it tomorrow.
They are interested in riding in the next few weeks up around Lost Maples and I mentioned that Mike was trying to get a "leave Friday afternoon and stay at some cabins and ride all day Saturday" ride in that area, they both sounded interested in that also.
Oh yeah.......ride tomorrow, WHY CERTAINLY!!

Went for a ride yesterday. Ended up in Luckenbach, Tejas. Meet up with a couple of Old Farts. Rode to CenterPoint, Tejas for a little lunch with a couple of good folks. Had a good time even though it was a short ride. On way home went through Sisterdale, Hearndale FM473 is a nice ride since they (state DOT) chip sealed it a couple of month ago.

 

Nice shot's there Mike, so what was for lunch?
It's good to hear they have finished working on 473, I'll have to check it out.

No kidding. Anyone think the predicted rain will wash out a weekend ride? I would like to make a short trip Sunday morning maybe around Blanco - Canyon Lake or something. I've been taking the bike to work the past couple of weeks, but it just isn't the same.

Thanks for the great pix, Mike. I missed another fun ride. Still not sure about LSR. It took me 3 weeks to convince the OL to make the trip and follow us in her cage. Now it looks like I may not be able to go. But I have some hope left.
