I'm sure there were at least 400 motorcyles.
There were some confusion at the start, but we all eventually got to the first stop Javelina......filled that place up pretty quick.......it was great.

Let's see what we can drum up for next weekend!!!
Hey all you future "OLD FARTS AND *******".......come join us!!
We promise a good time!

Jamie and I had a great time. This group ride was more enjoyable than one of the others I've been on, in the fact that there wasn't too much slinky effect. You know 60mph, 30mph, 80mph, BRAKE CHECK!! 70mph repeat, repeat! We met up with Roland in the parking lot at Javelina HD, we were walking together toward the water and snacks.. and just like a "sneaky Pete" he was there one moment, and gone the next. I heard someone singing behind me (thought it was Roland) turned around to discover he was no where in sight. We took care of our thirst and hunger, then strolled around a bit looking for the rest of the OF&Ws, without success. We split out early and made out way back home via San Marcos route from Boerne. Based on the info that was posted on the official website, I had made promises I eventually couldn't keep. But I tried to anyway.
It was an experince I will do again, and allow All Day for the event for sure.

The one regret I have, is that I did not take a picture of the "LONG" line at the men's port-a-potty and "NO" line at the woman's. I think the gals over at the QOTR thread would have gotten a kick out of that RARE sight. I'll post up some pics later, after I get them downloaded of the camera.

A nice leisurely ride through the Texas Hill Country.........$5.00 in gasoline
A 3/4 lb Cheeseburger with mountain of french fries at the Alamo Springs Cafe.......$12.00
Off the cuff, impromptu entertainment.........PRICELESS!!!!

(Later, back at the Ranch........)
"Honey, I think I left my handkerchief back at the Alamo Springs....I'll be back a little later "
"Honey, I'm back".
"You know, I just realized.........I think I left my lighter back at the Alamo Springs, be back a little later".
What a great day as usual!

Thanks for the update on the BAMC ride, guys. I'm glad everyone enjoyed it.

Everything happens for a reason? I would like to hear the story behind that pic, but that's for another ride on another day.

I'm more interested in the story about how you got them pics! Seems like when I miss a ride with you guys, something a little 'out of the ordinary' happens. I'm thinking your new camera is possessed with some funky mojo.

Anyone got plans for a ride this weekend? I know Mike will be making sure the hawties don't drown, but I could sure use some wind in my face this weekend. Maybe the breakfast buffet at the Bear Moon Bakery would be a great start!

If you decide to go Mud, bring that damned camera!

Got some friends riding down from Dallas, they had to wait the rain out before they headed this way. Got a call from them just outside of Waco, man or they going to hit some traffic rolling into ATX around 4PM or so. I'll check back in to see whats up, I know we will be riding around this weekend.
Hey on a side note# check out any Cowboy steel-er for some free tickets to a bike show with bands and games going on Sep 25th at The Cotton Gen, Maxwell.
