hey, count me in. any ride is a good ride. saturday or sunday? Better on sunday for a few of the riders.cheetahc finalize the ride and post it. scaryjerry and jgspringer wher are you? fat boy ted are you in?
merdahl wants to make the ride, but is out of the country until Saturday the 1st - so we were planning on a Sunday ride.
I probably will not go up to Dean's house to meet you guys. I would rather hook up somewhere before or in Florence. Are you going thru Queen Creek? Where are you guys having breakfast?
I'll be glad to tweak and post the the ride plan. Before I do, are there any thoughts on what plan you all would like to take? Maybe some of the other Tucson riders could jump in here, if they know of any road problems or issues with one plan or the other.

Matt
From Dean's house we will probably go through Florence Junction. We are planning to leave his place at 6 am and it will take us 2 hours to get to Tucson HD. We are meeting the rest of the group there at 8 am, so we'll have to get breakfast on our own before meeting at Dean's house.
I'm open to any other suggestions. We could meet in Chandler and take Arizona Ave. to the 87 to Florence, then down through Oracle to the dealer. That route is also just under two hours.
Here are a couple of Tucson ride ideas. They start and end at Tucson HD. Which is about 114 miles from Mesa. They will probably need some tweaking, but it's a place to start. deucegrey or jdspringer might want to weigh in on this. There is some Highway, mostly to get around the city and road construction. There is also Summerhaven (Mt. Lemmon), I know that was discussed at one time; about 152 miles total from Mesa.
I like the idea of Mt. Lemon, before it gets snowy up there. I have never been there and heard it is a nice ride. I don't know if that makes for too short of a ride for the Tucson crew though. Just a thought.
donna I would say yes. speed limit I believe is 35 to 45 mph.this would be called beginner twistys. my brother just bought a bike ,2oo2 fatboy.first time up the mt. no problems
