Dean,

Do you have any idea how much of a drag it is to be at the base of the Coronado and turn around to go home? Don't ask me how I know.

I know how it feels to go up halfway up and have to turn around and come back. Does that count?

Yeah, that counts if the rest of the group continued up. Hey why don't we ride up, then turn around and ride back?

All of the group had to turn back. Controlled fires had the road closed.

I'd like to do that, but not until it cools off some more.

The return ride would be pretty hot all the way from Morenci into the valley in mid afternoon.

Agreed, plus the salt river canyon is worth riding. Any breakfast plans on Sunday??

How about if we meet at Village Inn on Power and Main 6AM?
The food is good and it is right around the corner from my place
