i had a great time at this bike nite. i hope we can do many more.

 

Ditto... and a couple of more firsts for me... first was riding after dark... which of course, I knew was going to happen.&nbsp\\; Second was riding in the rain!!!&nbsp\\; Yes, I rode my bike in the rain!!&nbsp\\;

Being the wimp that I am... when we first pulled out of the parking lot, I saw lightning, and thought to myself... "if it rains, I'm pulling over, riding home with Joe, and driving him back in the van so he can ride my bike back."&nbsp\\; But then, it started to rain, and I didn't chicken out, I just kept riding until I found myself safely home!&nbsp\\; I'm so excited.&nbsp\\; (Not that I want it to rain every time, but it's nice to know I can do it if I have to!)

Anyway, it was great meeting new friends, and seeing "old" friends again.&nbsp\\; Can't wait till Sunday's ride... and future rides when we can see each other again.

It would be great if you could come to a bike night.&nbsp\\; Joe usually works Thursdays, but he took the night off to go, and extend the holiday weekend.&nbsp\\; I met Tina there, who also rides, and is looking for more women to ride with.&nbsp\\; She's more confident than me, as she rides without a helmet!!&nbsp\\; She suggested maybe we lady riders could meet for coffee or something... to get out on the bikes without quite doing the hundreds of miles that they guys do!
