Can anyone give me some heads up on the Hill Country Rally in Lukenbach on May 2-4. Is this rally anygood or has it turn into nothing. Havn't been in about 6 years and don't won't to drive all the way from Tulsa area if not going to be a goodtime. Thanks Randy

 

Went for the first time last year (in Fredericksburg) and would say that it was 'so-so', as did several of the people in the group I went with. However, those same friends said they were going back since it was in Luckenbach because that had been to it before when it was in Luckenbach and had a great time.

The other thing that would make it a pretty good bet is that the 2nd Hawgs N Hills Rally (about 25 miles away outside of Llano) and the state HOG Rally (about 60 miles away in New Braunfels) will both be going on during the same weekend. Went to the Hawgs N Hills Rally last year and had a great time.

With all three rallies within about 90 miles of each other, surely you could have a good tiime (or find some trouble) if you looked.

BTW, the gf and I are planning to attend a little bit of all three rallies.

 

from a quick look at the website it looks to be a fairly conservative type of rally. the music looks to be locals (not that that's a bad thing) I doubt if you'll see folks fornicatin and stuff like that Although the Rooster might be chasin a lil tail. Looks like there will be something for everyone if ya include all 3 rallies. The Beach boys are headlining on saturday night at the H.O.G. rally. FWIW

 

havent been on the rally to lukenbach but ive ridden out there with a bunch of guys before and the ride was beautiful....actual luckenbach was pretty cool too food a bit pricey but they gotta make money somehow....might have to check out the rally though weve been planning on going back soon.....
