Looking for a day ride from the Mesa area on Sat March 29th
I will be in for bike week and would like to get together with some HDF members for a ride
Any thoughts and who would like to go along

Itlooks like the Winkleman/ Oracle Junction ride on Sunday April 6th. Whoever is interested, send a post or a PM and we will work out the details.
Let's get a count of who is going and where you are coming from so we can pick the best place to meet. I am in East Mesa. If we meet out here somewhere we can hop on the 60 and head straight to Superior. I am thinking Power Road and the 60 around 9 AM. Does anyone know a good place to stop for lunch, possibly in Winkleman?

Not much to be had for lunch in Winkleman guys. Great place to stop and stretch and get gas but...Depending on which way you go from there...Couple of good places in Superior, and in Globe quite a few..Judys cookhouse in Globe, right at the turnoff to Roosevelt lake and also for mexican food take the turnoff to Rooselvelt and go about 3-4 mile is Guayos ......on the right hand side.

Thanks for the info. Maybe we will run up to Globre have lunch and then down to Winkelman.

I'll be returning from AZ Bike week on the 6th so I'm in. Not used to coming down, I'm usually coming up. I'll be coming into Globe and down into Winkelman. I'll be leaving about 9-9:30 so that should put me in Globe at 11:00 perhaps. Guayos sounds good.
