well if any of you knew anything or had a clue about Florence
you would know that anytime day or night when going through the area you are on survelance
they have cameras set at all entrances and exits to the area and if you are not a local to them they run your back ground before you get to the other end of town

it has been going on for years there where you are on a bike or in a cage
(I used to run through there for work and was warned about it by local residents)

I agree that the cops make a big deal outta any 81 activity. The local boysdid create quite a bit of **** and that just madethings worse. Cops were undercover and breaking the law just as badly as anyone.

As far as a run goes, you aren't going to catch any of these guys doing anything but making noise and possibly speeding. But generally the cops ain't gonna catch anyone but a Hang-Around or Prospect, if they're lucky.

One thing that people need to think about is the fact that there are 500 bikers. How would you like to be a cop waiting for some **** to go down where it's you against a **** load of HA? Not that anything would, but you gotta keep the odds fairly close.

With that said, I also like chicken fried steak but try to stay away from it as it's very unhealthy.

I agree that the police probably overreact when the M/Cs roar into town. There's always the possibility of violence, even if it's remote,and maybe they just don't want to be out-gunned... Also, the show of force was probably a political move by the sherrif, so he looks good come election time. "I'm here to keep the general public safe, yada, yada, yada..." My cousin is married to a cop - they just do what their told - Grumble, grin and move on...

Let's see. A m/c club with known criminal activities rides though a town where the state prison is, and ppl are wondering why there were so many LE?

no, but they might want to put an extra couple of teenage dipshits on window patrol at the local starbucks...those middle-aged greenie types get all pissy if they don't get their lattes quickly enough.

oh, and the local drugstores might wanna get in a couple extra shipments of tampons...
