This sounds like something my wife and I would be very interested in doing. We would be leaving from Conroe, so we might want to meet in Austin.

I echo the ride that 392heminut is offering. It's an awesome ride through some of the most spectacular scenery you'll see. I've ridden it several times and it never get's old, so keep me posted as I'm interested too.

I'm looking at this one pretty close.I've been talking to Steve about getting together anyway. It all depends on the route but I might be able to make most of the ride.I was thinking about running up through AZ for a few days then going on to Vegas for a couple days then back down through Phoenix and back to Texas.Looks like around 3000 miles or so.

We have a route just about firmed up, just trying to decide on a date. I should have more info in a couple of weeks.

The ride will start in Benson, Az. and go to Tombstone and Bisbee and back to Safford the first day. Second day will be from Safford to Show Low via Morinci and the Coronado Trail. Third day will be from ShowLow to Globe to Payson then down to Camp Verde and on to Prescott. Fourth day will be from Prescott to Williams via Jerome, Sedona, and Oak Creek Canyon. Fiifth day will be from Williams to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. From there everyone will find their way home.

We have limited to days to under 300, with the ride from Prescott to Williams only about 190. This will give everyone time to shop, sightsee and just enjoy.

More to come.

I start a new job Monday, and as soon as I find out how the vacation schedule works and what days I can get off I will be posting a date for this ride.

I would be interested in joining the ride. Would have to meet somewhere, maybe Austin since we will be coming frmo Humble (NE Houston). Might get the g/f to jump on her sporty as well, she would be good for 250-300 miles / day.

Hey Bill
Sounds like a geat plan you guys are putting together, hope to be able to make it again. Though I might have to "Fly and Ride" for this one or trailer so Marie and I can drive staight through.

Dave,

If you have to trailer, you can leave the trailer at our house and start the ride from here. I'm sure Steve and Al are going to come down from Pueblo and ride to Az. with us.
