RE: Iron Butt rides?
I kinda want to. I dont know exactly how to go through with it though. Its pretty common for me to ride 500-800 miles on a saturday, I just havent put the effort into it yet. I know this doesnt help you any, but I onder if anyone could get me started on how to contact the people required to document this so i could make it happen also?

My friend Bill and I did one in April. It was sponsored by the local Shriners, Scooter Unit. They planned the route and had a back up vehicle follow to pick up break downs. They also handled all the paper work for the IBA. We did 1075 miles in 21 hours. Tulsa to Wichtia,Topeka,Kansas City, Saint Louis, and then, a straight shot down I-44 back to Tulsa. We enjoyed it, but I don't know that I would do another one. They call it The Saddle Sore 1000 for a reason. Go to www.ironbutt.com for more info.

I live in the Phoenix area and I have completed 2 Saddlesores, a 1500 Bunburner, 2000 Saddlesore and a 50 CC. If you need a witness to sign you out or sign you in or both let me know. The first Saddlesore I did was from Phoenix-Tucson-Las Cruces-Albequerque-Flagstaff-Phoenix. Total was around 1100 miles it can be done in about 18 total hours.
