Lonestar Rally, Galveston
Well just booked my room for the rally this year.
Last year was my first time and had a hell of a time, but had the family also, so couldnt
check out all aspects.
This year just the guys are going.
got a room at the commodore on the beach at 35th and seawall.
anybody know anything bout that place? I needed to find a room with more than 2 places to sleep, beds and a couch for everybody, and that was one of the very few.
Cant wait to go, hope its more fun than last, and my bike was stock then and it is far from it now.

Don't know much about the place you have reserved but no matter where you stay, the rally is still a blast. We have been staying different places each year.....on the beach, Casa Del Mar, Blimp Base, State Park. The bunch I run with just hangs out and waits to see what the "Queen of Cheap" (that's me) comes up with. They all know it doesn't matter where we stay, I am gonna make sure I have a good time and so will they. So far the Blimp Base and the state park have been thier favorites & in that order.
Anyway, keep watching the forum for someone to start a thread about a meet and greet. We had one there last year. The few of us that showed up had a really good time.

I'm not organizing a meet and greet this year I am gonna let someone else start. Last year we had a bunch say, "I'm gonna be there" YADA YADA whatever. Only a few showed but it was cool cause with just a few of us we got to talk and kinda get to know each other.
