Changed my reservation to the seascape condos about 5 minutes past all the popular hotels on the seawall. I heard from many people that the commodore is run down and dirty so i said to hell with that.
Last year was a ball but this year should be better.
We stayed at Seascape last year and you will like the place. Rollingtiger did set up a meet & greet and I was one who said "I'll be there." Circumstances beyond our control prevented it. I will take up the gaunlet and start one this year. Two of my favorite places there are The Spot and Woodrow's, but both get really crowded. I don't remeber the place where everyone met last year, but if ya'll think it worked out, then maybe we could meet there. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated and I will post often to see about getting this going.
Yea, and somebody got pictures too. I think I have may one. The meet & greet was fun. It someone plans one for this year, me and my crew will be there again. I would volunteer to help with the planning, but I have a lot going on with our USMC Toys for Tots committee right now and don't think my little blonde brain can handle anymore.
Puddles, did I see you at the last Pasadena Swap meet? Once again I was headed out when I thought I saw you.
I might try to make it this year.I've always heard good things about this rally but I've never been.I'm not big on rallies but this one sounds like a good one.One of My buddies says it's the only rally that wont miss.
I want to go and combine it with a couple of days at the Houston Renaissance festival, but it's at a bad time for me because I'll be working on my Master's thesis...I would love to go next year though.
If the weather holds up this coming weekend I'll head down to Galveston and shop around for some good meeting places, take some pictures, and then post them so evryone can pick and choose.
OK boys & girls, me & the guys have decided to head to Galveston today to scout some meetin' places. I'll get back with ya later this evening and let ya know what we find.
