There was no way we could make Daytona this year but we are planning on Angel City in GA and Thunder Beach in Panama City. We will for sure do Thunder Beach (we do it every year at least once). Anyone else planning on these? J

Im going to Thunder Beach this year for the first time. Got any tips on good places to visit?

The Sandpiper Beacon is the rowdiest place to stay/lodge. Tons and tons of bikersthere. I'm sure they have a website. We have a place we stay at in Sunnyside which isn't too far from the Sandpiper.Anyhow you've got Edgwater onone side of PC and alot of stuff Pier Parkon the other side of PC and a fifty places to stop in between. It's not near as spread out as Daytona is. We like it. Let me know what you find out. Later - J

What is the dates of the two events? I'm going to try to go to thunder beach. It's only about 90 mi. from me.

 

Thunder Beach is May 3 through 6 I believe. We're looking forward to it. I've been to Destin many times but never to PC. Should be good riding.

Angel City is 4/19 -4/22. Get your pass on line it is a lot cheaper. wwwdotangelcityralleydotcom, lots of space for camping, it can be a bit dusty with all the traffic. They have showers on site, good food, cold beer, what else could you ask for. I'll buy the second round Ranger.

Thunder Beach spring for sure. Trying to geta few friends to ride over for Angel City thi spring as well.

We're going to miss Thunder Beach fall. A few of us are riding out west for Las Vegas BikeFest and then on out to the coast.

 

Try Shuckum's Oyster Bar in P.C. It is awesome and I think they do a bike night either Thursday or Friday. Schooners also a great place on the ocean with bike only parking out front. Enjoy
