Looking to get to some different bike events next summer, but I don't want to waste time going to crappy events.

Can anyone let me know what they think about the Outer Banks Bike Week in April 14???

Google Outer Banks, NC and you can select an events calender, that may tell you who, what, where and when. I know motels are high dollar, in that area. There is Elizebeth City, NC about 20 miles from the beaches on the north end. Hwy 153, rooms are 1/2 the price.

 

Define "waste time"....

OBX is more like a handful of H-D dealerships having an open house at the same time... than a wide open drunken party in some downtown area.

It's at the beach, so the roads tend to be straight and flat.....but the weather is warm... and the locals use it as sort of a "tune up" for beach season.... lots of places are still closed, others are on limited hours... but you are welcomed.. unlike other places.

I'd rather head AWAY from the beach.. but that's MY thing... mountains and riding.
