A DUI sobriety checkpoint is scheduled in Lee County sometime during this weekend, beginning today, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office. A separate checkpoint will be staged in Cape Coral, according to the Cape Coral police department.

That's something that no bike rider should ever have to worry about.

 

Unless you know where they usually set up the checkpoints and want to avoid the traffic. In my town, they always set it up in one of two or three places. I have seen traffic back up for several miles.

 

That's kinda what I was getting at. Plus a lot DUI checkpoints will harass certain people just because they fit a certain profile. In my opinion, it's best to avoid them altogether.
