That sucks, please tell me your realesate agent has this guys ernest money he put up with the offer on your house!!!

The ernest money is yours to keep after he backs out of the deal or is late to close on the house..

Don't give up the ship just yet. Do you have real estate agents or an escrow agent? If so, call them tonightand put them to work, that's what they're being paid for. Tell them you want/need answers tomorrow. Tell them to give this guy a 10 or 15 day period to make good on his offeror you may be forced to take legal action against him, potentially losing any deposit he may have put down on your house.

Call your creditors immediately and let them know what the situation is. A lot of people don't realize that if you call your creditors they will always give you time to make the payments. It's whenpeople don't communicate with them that they can get pretty demanding.

Call the people you owe money to (friends and family) andlet them know what the situation is.
Lastly,if you don't have anything in writing,my advice is to hope for the best but be prepared for the worst.

It may seem awfully dark right now, but with a few calls maybe some of this "weight of the world" can be lifted from your shoulders.

ernest money in your hand or your agents hand????

Please don't tell me/us you did this on a mans word alone???

Your avoiding my post so I'm thinking you did this on your own
on a hand shake with no legal paper work at all.

if thats the case you are going to need a whole bunch of luck and a
good lawyer because this scam is done time and time again all over
the country according to my daughter who is an agent.

I wish you the best my friend and I hope your 2007 is much brighter.

PS: One word of advice that I hope you don't ignore in my post!

if this guy has money (which what you say he does) I would delete
your posts slandering him, because my daughter says that is part of
the scam, they hope their hooked people will slander them in public
then they have you right where they want you. if you choose to
ignore my posts, please do not ignore what I'm telling you here..

 

BTW: To clairify (ignore) I mean your not answering if you have an
angent? or ernest money??
