There are also fun activities:
-take a walk in the Brookgreen gardens
-enjoy the Ripley's aquarium
-Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk (historic fishing village)
and many more

Lets be real! Myrtle Beach hasn't seen 300,000 bikers in years! I go there on a regular basis since I only live about a 100 miles from there and i plan on going the 2nd half of the week during this springs rally as I usually do. But there is not much difference in the amount of bikes down there during bike week and any nice weather weekend in the spring. It will NEVER be like it was years ago. My opinion is that Panama City Beach (Thunder Beach) is the rally to go to anymore I've been going the last few years as well as the myrtle beach(or as it now should be refered to "Murrels Inlet" rally. PCB Fla. knows how to treat a biker!!!!!

PCB may be fun, but it doesnt make sense for me to travel 1500 miles for a 4 day rally. I will continue to go to Myrtle Beach

+1 I enjoy the smaller crowds as well. We stay in Murrells Inlet. Lot's of good food and riding around the area.

I've been there for the first time in 2000 too and have seen it grown the next 8 years....but I was really disappointed in 2009 when they changed the laws. It wasn't the same and so I thought I need a break. Maybe I'll come back some day cause I really loved it!

Myrtle Beach has really laid off some of the rash laws they had the last few years, i think they are seeing now that they are killing the ralley. The helmet law in the city limits is GONE.
