Charlotte, NC riders...speak up

My map link was supposed to stay as a link, not show a map. Oh, well.
Start at Hardees, head up toward Salisbury, back down by Badin, down 52, cut though a cornfield and back to Monroe. Sometimes I stop at the Boneyard Tavern for a beer before I go home but they aren't really in summer mode yet. Still get beer and sit out on the patio though.
PM me if you want a link to the map.

I would say that is a shooting offense but I expect you have already considered that.

I thought about a mailing list or maybe a separate thread for Charlotte rides. I was kind of waiting to see how much interest this generates. Anybody have any thoughts on this.
For 7125, we might need an iron butt thread to keep up with you.

I'd be interested when I'm free, not as often as I would like but got to make the money to pay for the toys

Started out to be a little bit nippy but we changed the ride up a little bit to accomodate. Stopped at the Crossroads Coffee House in Waxhaw as a lot of bikers congregate there on Sundays but no love, must have been a little to chilly for most folks. The sun came out as we finished out coffee and took the chill out of the air. Made the first leg down to Landsford Canal without hitting any potholes. Lost the coffee and checked out the park map and the river. Headed on out to Lancaster, SC for a great burger at Leigh Anne's Restaurant after driving past about a hundred chain restaurants. Made the right decision to stay off 521 and hit rt 9 back up through Van Wyck to make the trip home.
It was windy. Glad I wasn't on a Fat Boy cause the wind did push us around a little. Great ride and Ed is a top notch riding buddy. Can't wait for the next run.

My cvma chapter is having a big charity ride on May 3rd. Good time and a big turnout, last year we had 600 bikes. Pass the word around for me and join us if you can.
