We could not make it due to the weather man was
saying Friday night there was a chance of sleet and
ice between Greenville SC. and Atlanta GA. Sunday
morning early into the afternoon. So just in case
they were correct (one time) we went to the IMS
show and Super Cross race in AtlantaSaturday
morning and came back Saturday night instead
of Sunday!

We will get up with you and the others sooner or
later!!

I'm a Charlotte area rider, new to the forum. I'm thinking about taking the 1/2 day off and doing a little riding today. It's going to be 60 +/- and sunny. I live near Monroe(20 miles SE of Charlotte). Anyone riding today?

Not riding here today but I am in Monroe at work though.
We have a body shop on Skyway Drive behind the new Motorama Classic Cars store. It's the old Dale jarret Suzuki dealership. If you happen to ride this way rev it up as you go by.

I haven't had a relaible person to ride with since 1977
when my best friend and ridingbuddy move to Germany.

For 18 years before that we rode 40 to 80,000 miles a
year mostly together all the time. I use to ride 50 to
100,000 miles a year, he did not ride quite as much as
I did. Mainly because we lived in Canada and I rode all
winter, he did not ride in the winter. He always said that
riding his snowmobile in 45 below zero was more then
enough fun for him without riding his motorcycle on the
streets in that weather like I did. (go figure")

if you are a rider and really love to ride alot I'm the
guy you want to ride with.

WARNING: I actually ride my motorcycles, 70,000+
miles in 2006. My idea of fun is to leave home on a
Saturday morning and ride to Maggie Valley for
breakfast then go for a little scoot in the mountains
and back home again, if thats your idea of riding my
shop/cell# is 704-236-2885

PS: I've been known to leave home on a Saturday
morning in the winter and ride down to the Daytona
area for lunch and back home again in the afternoon.
and no I'm not into IBA rides, I think there silly kids
games. I'mriding the NC.TN.GA. mountains tomorrow
if your interested? Which is where you can find me most
every weekend all year round.

 

Work today is starting to screw up my riding plans.
I plan to stop in to your shop sometime soon. I have two pontenial jobs for your husband. Both 66 Ford Pickups. I have a shortbed 66 and a friend of mine has longbed. His longbed is in my garage now. We are converting it to discbrake. Once we finish that he is going to get it painted.

Cool, bring them on by. You'll have to stop in and look at some of the cars we have done for Motorama. They have a huge collection of cars. As a matter of fact, Wed. I got to meet Brad Whitford, guitarist for Aerosmith. he came to check out the cars and then came down to our shop as well. I was starstruck as I LOVE me some Aerosmith.

Hey SteelersWG, welcome to the site!! I've worked quite a bit on Waxhaw. I used to live a few minutes from Waxhaw too. Right off of Hwy. 75. That place is growing, aint it.
