Default Riding in Louisiana ??

Thinking about going to New Orleans for the winter and working on Levees , wonder how the riding is ? would it be worth taking are bikes ?

Yes, there is lots of good riding. I don't get over to Ner Orleans often but if you bring your bikes and get a weekend head north and check out the rest of the state. Up around Toledo Bend is nice but thats a haul from were you'll be.

There are some scenic roads to ride. But, Louisiana has often been ranked as having the worst roads in the country. While there are some nice things to look at along the road, it's hard to take your eyes off the road in fear of what may lay ahead. When we return from trips out of state I could close my eyes and still tell you the exact moment we cross the state line.
