Supreme Court rules Myrtle Beach helmet law is invalid
"the helmet law's repeal takes effect immediately, and he will issue an order that the municipal court dismiss all pending helmet tickets, that all records be expunged for those who have received tickets and paid fines, and that all fines paid be returned to the people who paid them."

How could it go any other way? Everyone knew it wouldn't be allowed to stand, including the ******** that enacted it. What a bunch of losers! I think every anti helmet rider in the country should converge on Myrtle Beach next May and overwhelm those ****** and their resources. We shoud have a one finger wave parade right through the city. The Mayor, City Manager, City Attorney and the entire Council should resign. I wonder what tax they will impose to cover paying back all the fines.

If you read the article and the commentary afterwards, you can see how far these people have their head up their a$$es! I still say good riddance... not a nickel goes into MB from me... especially not to pay back the money that they wasted on this effort. Of course, they think it's money well spent because "it served its purpose". Spend $70k to make sure that your city's businesses lose a few hundred grand year after year. Geniuses one and all. Ask the city of Daytona Beach how smart they feel these days!
Predictable, too.
