I want to see where you guys like to ride in Ky. Favorite riding roads, routes, places to chow, etc.

 

I like taking SR 144 out of Owensboro to Cloverport, SR 105 to Sr 79 over Rough River Dam, SR 110 to Hwy 54 and back home. A lot of nice views. About 100 mile, 2 1/2 hr trip.

 

From Allen, 1428 to 302, thena round Dewey Lake to Paintsville, and then on 40 to Salyersville where I pick up 460/7 to West Liberty. From there continue on 460 to Mize. Stop at Oldfield's farm and feed. BTW they are the only farm and feed I know of that has their own tie dyed t-shirts. Just past Oldfield's turn left on 203 and go straight through Hazel Green the road changes numbers at some point, but go straight to Campton. There it meets up with 15 (going straight) to Natural Bridge. Along 15 is a log lodge that is called True North - also an outfitter. They have good food and cheap bunks if you need. The Bison Burgers are great. Continue to the gorge and there is no bad road. Turn around and go home the way you came. ;-)
