Biker appreciation is once a year...Friday nights are busy (10 to 25 bikes) Sat around 12 alot of bikes meet there before riding and Sunday around 12 also. Most bikers from Durham and Roxboro but some people come from raleigh..Great place too eat and have bands on Friday night...I am letting everyone know of another place too eat and that is biker friendly..

Going to Roanoke on Saturday..... attending a funeral..... top off the tank Friday night, and head out early in the morning.... no stops, but I'll squeeze in a few good roads

Currently in A-stan but will be home on R&R mid-September. My brother just pumped out to Iraq yesterday, so, I will have to find some new riders to tag-along with.

I am going to have to ride over to your neck of the woods, my old stomping ground, and see how things have changed in the last few years. Especially Stone Bay from what I understand.

 

You wont even recognize it. Every time I come back from a deployment I always find myself saying "holy chit" it always changes. If you've been gone more than a two years you won't recognize it

 

Haven't been there since I got out in '06. Still have some friends there, some with the new unit at Stone Bay, and others that are on mainside.

damn it's hot. lol went to sunny skies yesterday for some ice cream with the wife. nice to get out on the bike and do alittle riding around but just to hot to really enjoy it , but the dip in the pool felt great afterwards was great
