This won't help the Raleigh guys much but there's a biker ministry at a church in Elon that has a ride every Sunday afternoon at 2:00. The rides are usually an hour out and an hour back to various establishments that serve ice cream (summer) and coffee (winter). I've been riding with this bunch for 7 years. It's a good group of folks. Anybody is welcome to come and enjoy the ride.

Biker Appreciation Free Cookout & Live Music...Today at 5 Charlies Bar and grill on 9th st in Durham is having a free cookout for bikers. Normally in years past theres been over 75 to 100 bikes there...But with the weather topping 102 today dont know about how many will show up.

Charlies Bar & Grill
Even tho the temps were 103 the turnout was great at Charlies Bar and Grill..Both sides of the street was full of bikes...Over 75 bikes..There was free food and music...
