Planning my first trip to Myrtle for the fall bike week. Any suggestions on motels close to the action?

Well, thats the thing about Myrtle Beach, the action is from Murrell's Inlet all the way to North Myrtle Beach. We stayed at Sea Mist which is a little south still in Myrtle Beach itself and reallly liked it.

LT is right....we stay on the opposite end in North Myrtle. That's the good and bad of it....you've got a 30-40 minute ride down Kings Hwy from the most northern attraction to the most southern.
Any where from the Broadway area to Barefoot will put you somewhere in the middle.

 

I'll second the Sea mist! Tons of bikes in the parking lots and gotta love the pools everywhere! I liked coming in and getting some beers and going out to the parking lot to BS and have a good time. Thats what it is about!

 

Murrells Inlet if you wanna be in the heat of the action..... But theres really not a bad spot.

I'm going back for the fall rally. The nice thing about the fall one is that it's just not as crowded as the spring. You can get into the clubs a little easier and hardly every wait in line for dinner. It'll be a good show.
