lake norman motel? is that the old "Slant Bridge" motel..? last time i was there was back in around 81. There was a club downstairs. lizzy borden was playing that night. my friend got into a fight, and got cut up pretty bad. A couple of people in my crowd got arrested, cept me.. Steve Gilbert used to own, or rent the club part. i think it was called the cove.We used to go swimming off the old peir. Somewhere on the bottom of the cove there, my wallet, and a nice tourquoise ring is resting from when i was 18, and jumped in without thinking about my wallet. lost the ring diving for the wallet...

I have been to the Hog Happin' in Lincolnton for the last 2 years. Lot of bikes show up, BBQ is good, but T-Bone and I did the poker run last year and it sucked.
But everyone remember we are having the meet this weekend in Lake Lure. It will be more fun riding and meeting everyone. And I also know of a good BBQ place out in the western part of NC.
