I made the mistake of riding my bike to Pat Rogers Harley Davidsonyesterday just before the huge Hail/wind/rain storm that hit the Charlotte area to pick up some more parts for my bike. (keep in mind I have spent lots of $ there over the last few years) When I was getting ready to leave a aweful storm hit, and I was "stranded" at the dealership. You would of thought someone would have offered to let me put my bike inside, but no they all sat around and commented how bad the storm was...and to make it all worse, Pat himself walked out to the front windows, looked at my bike and laughed. what a jerk! I got so fed up I left in the rain, and i will never return, I will drive to Tilleys even if I need a bolt!

 

I can't believe he laughed. Thats just disrespectful in general but even more sowhen you've spent so much there over the years.

 

Dude - that sucks. I have bought some stuff there too... and will be there this weekend since i will be riding my fatboy down to the speedway for the races. I always hit quaker steak, hooters, and pat rogers when i am there, but I dont buy anything from ********. Thats a bad deal. If anyone is around saturday - look for me on a yellow and black fatboy - picures are here under my profile. Pat Rogers has never given me that warm and friendly feeling. I usually go to Tilley when possible anyway now since they are the only one in the area the still gives 10% off to National HOG members. Speedway stopped doing it and only gives the discount to local HOG members now. When I don't need stuff that day I order from Chicago or Zanottis and get 20% or more off. I live 15 minutes from Speedway but gladly drive 40 minutes north to Tilley or 40 minutes South to Rock Hill to give my money to people that seem to appreciate my business. .02

 

I will never set foot in there either, I go to Blue Ridge or Tilley.

 

Yep, Tilleys is the ONLY place to go for parts, service or racing needs. They have gone way out of their way to help me many times. My bike is 10 years old and Pat Rogers laughs about getting parts for it. One trip to Tilleys and I was set. I will never be back to Speedway HD except to drive past!

 

Actually, I would have thought that somebody in that situation would have said "open the door, I'm bringing my bike in".

 

well maybe when Pat Roger said what a jerk you should have said f8uk you and taken you parts back and got a refund and then ask pat rogers who the jerk is now
