Me and the wife will be there Fri & Sat. We are staying at the newfound lodge.

went last year and enjoyed the riding around the area but the rally itself really wasn't all that good.

 

Same here . Pulling out early Friday morning around 8:30 or so. We will be going up hwy 11 then I-26 if anyone is going that way and care if we join in to ride. I don`t know the room # neither yet but somewhere at New Found Lodge.

 

I'm heading out Friday Morning also from Rutherford County.

We are going to try and pull out of here around 7-7:30.....was going to shoot down 85 at first to 74 and hook over to 26 at Columbus....but may avoid the 85 rush and pick a alternate route to 26...not sure yet.

 

Wife cant get off till noon on Friday so we will be leaving the Lincolnton area around 1:00pm, heading up 321 to 40. We are staying at the Hampton Inn(had a points for 2 free nights).

We have some friends staying at the Kickstand Lodge and are thinking about riding the Cherahala Saturday. We will probably be hanging around the Easy Eddies vendor set-up, Eddie is a friend of ours. If you ever need Metzlers he is at most of the rallys and installs them while you wait.
He will have two trailers at Myrtle Beach during bike week, 1 at HB Spokes and 1 at the Harley Dealer. Just FYI

 

Rode the Cherahala last year when we went up....great ride...be sure to take some extra gear with ya, temps can change dramatically by 10-15 degrees as you go up.....Ride Safe....OLH
