1st bike night of the year starts tonight 4/2/08 at Quaker Steak & Lube in Concord at 6:00.....hope to see a few of you out there....Ride Safe....OLH

 

They had a pre bike night at the Lube here in Knoxville last Thursday, it was packed. This week it looks like the weather is not going to cooperate. Man I love the Lube bike nights. It's not unsual to have as many as 400 bikes in and out on a nice summer night, it is by far the best bike night in town. How is it over in Concord?

 

The first one last year pulled in about 400 also....should be a good one tonight...low 60's slight chance of rain....by far I agree one of the better bike night spots are at Quaker Steak.

 

Man I just don't go there any more. I work up that way and the local LEO's are staking out bikers big time. I can't tell you how many people I know that have gotten pulled for $illy $hit. It seems like they have it out for us for some reason.

 

Just got in from bike night at Quaker Steak in Concord...pretty good turnout even though the air was getting a little chilly...still all in all about 300 plus bikers made it in. Nice to have bike night back....and didn't see a LEO in sight everyone had a great time and got to see a 13 year old kids jam down with some blues.....life is good once again....Ride Safe People....OLH

Wooohoooo Bike Night Season has begun !!!!!!!!!!!

I like going to QSL to look at all the bikes but as far as the best places to go in the Charlotte area we love Christophers in Matthews. It's low key. less crowded, better foodand the people all are like one big family there. (And no kids on crotch rockets either)

 

We have only been in NC 1 year, where is Christophers?

We were in Huntersville and just bought a place in Iron Station(few miles from
Lincolnton) just off 73.

 

Greetings - I am a new forum member and I live in Boone. Does anyone have any information about a poker run on April 19th that starts at Jay's at the lake? I have family in Corneilus and I frequently ride in that area on the weekends... great area and always 10+ degrees warmer that here. Would really like to participate in rides with all you guys in that area. My riding friends are all Nascar types and are working on the weekends when i am there. Let me know. Rich

I believe Christophers is in Matthews. I also live in Iron Station on 73. We need to get together some time and ride out there.
