Questions for members in the Atlanta area
I'm going to be staing in some town called Norcross, GA at some hotel called the Residence Inn for a week while on-course. Anything of interest within taxi distance? I understand there's no booze for sale on Sundays there, and I'm a bourbon-loving Canuck. If there's one thing we Canucks can do, it's drink.
Any suggestions, anyone? TIA.

Unfortunally Johnny, there's not alot around Norcross. Your best bet is hit downtown or Little 5 Points. There you will see everything from the laid back biker to the snobbish preppy (and everything in between). Great place for people watching. You can only buy beer, wine and liquor, in bars, on Sunday. Hopefully that will change soon. Are you riding down?

Won't be riding down - the weather up here sucks pretty bad. Today, it warmed up to 9 degrees Celsius with gentle winds of 60mph. We've got snow in the forecast again.
I'll be flying out of Toronto (oh joy).I think I get in on Saturday the 19th. I'll keep your advice in mind - much appreciated. I don't think I'll hit any preppy establishments; I don't fit. I'll look for the biker places.

Crapola. Was thinking about Babygirl asking me if I was riding down. Looked into the course schedule, and there was one offered in June. Dammit. Should've waited for that. Could have rode down, and then taken a week to come back home, mebbe up the East Coast.
Ah well, there's always next time.

Oasis is not bad, I work near there and they have a great lunch special. Also you can go down Peachtree Industrial towards downtown and another club called the Pink Pony is worth checkin out. Stone Mountain Harley is not too far from Norcross as well if you want to visit a dealer while you are in town.
