I'll be look also. One problem is I don't know if I can handle the cold (call me a wus) but I have been in Florida for 30 years. I will give it a try.

 

I'm not too far from you, highway 49 and 485 area. Search through the S/E section of the forum. There is a thread similar to this one titled "Charlotte area riders". We're out there. I'd like to take a close look at your Fat Bob, my son wants that dual headlight on his Sportster.

Leatherup is a great site. Make sure you order one size up. I ordered a jacket with armor for $119 and it is great, heavy with armor. Chaps at 69.95. They may not be the best leather but I have them for warmth. Also, they are in California.

Alot of people from NC, more than have posted. I hope to meet more of you next summer, by then Douglas will be older and some of his problems taken care of. I will be able to get out more.

 

New to the board. My father in law (Bubba4NC) is on here all the time and told me about it. www.jafrum.com has good prices on leathers. I have some chaps from the site and the wife and mother in law (Bubba4NC's wife) have jackets. Very good prices and good quality.
