I think we need to get a ride together for everybody here in NC, I think there are more of us from NC here then any other states on HDF my Family own a campground here in Statesville we could possible puta little get together here or if anybody esle has another location just post it.

Sunday Morning Ride
When: Sunday Morning, March 2 2008, KSU 6:45
Destination: Kangaroo Station, US 17, Little River
Why: Glad you asked.
Gene Roberts is running across America to raise money for the homeless, cancer and diabetes research. And to also share his faith in Christ.
Gene always had a passion for running, and loosing both his legs in Vietnam would not deter him. He started July of last year, in California, and runs about 13 miles everyday. His current route has him on US 17, through Wilmington, up to Camp Lejuene. (http://www.raafj.com/calendar.html)
This Sunday a group of riders, both bikes and cages, are planning a "Welcome to North Carolina" escort. The plan is to meet at the Kangaroo at 8:00, with Gene arriving about 9:00. This effort has its roots in the Patriot Guard forum, but anyone and everyone is welcome.
I will be at the BP station at the corner of North 132 and North Kerr near Laney High School, leaving at 6:45 for a pleasant ride. All are welcome to join, the more the merrier.

Just to let all you new folks know...............We will start our meet and greets soon and hopefully throw in a few trips as soon as it warms up a bit. Stay tuned. At all of last years get togethers we had anywhere from 15-25 folks show up and it seems like we have a rather large group joining up lately. Can't wait to meet those of you I haven't yet and those I have .......well..........some body owes me a drink
