Want to put 16 in. apes on my sb but dont know if it is still a legal height.Doesanyone know limits for s.c.

Pretty sure its been changed to no limit for SC... Let me find the website so I can link it. Mine are above 15" from bottom of seat

 

As many bikes as i have riden over the years I have never rode with apes. are they really comfortable on long rides?

 

If you venture into Florida they cannot be higher than shoulder height.

 

If there is no limit in SC and there is a limit of not above the shoulders in another state. Here in Oklahoma its nothing above eye level which includes the mirrors. what happens if you cross the state line coulda LEOticket you for an unsafe vehicle?

Yea they are comfortable. When I was on my way to Maryland, I talked to Punisher and talked to him about my apes. He said I shouldn't be messed with since I was registered in another state.

 

You are correct, there is NO limit on Height.
