Default Looking for GPX routes - Smokey Mountains

I am taking a trip to the Smokey Mountain area in Sept/Oct and will be there for about 5 days. I am looking for 2 things, GPX routes and a place to say that is central to the riding but large enough to have a restaurant or bar close by, preferably close enough to a hotel that I can walk.

The plan is to say in the same place, ride out and ride back. I am used to Texas so 200 miles a day is what I am thinking but based on the fact that the Dragon is only 11 miles we may be able to get a lot of riding in a day only riding 100 miles per. I looked in this section and didn't see any gpx routes posted, hopefully someone is as **** retentive as I am and has already planned it all out.

I always stayed in Lodge at Tellico at the bottom of Cherohala. Nice cabin with indoor bike garage, pretty cool.
Great location for in and out. Unfortunately not much on restaurants/bars close by. I usually hit those along the way.
I don't have those gpx's anymore but lots of good roads in the area.

We are booked at "A Holiday Motel" in Maggie Valley, excellent reviews and seems pretty biker friendly.

Supposedly this site has GPX files so I am going to check it out and maybe use some or just make my own.

The cool think about staying in one place for a week is that I can make several routes and interchange as needed. Or we can always just wing it with a map of the area.

This is one of the best resources for the area. They also have a Facebook page.
The Missing Link III incorporates quite a few of the major rides into one day if you want to do a big loop. Moonshiner 28 was definitely a favorite with us. If you’re a little farther NW at any time, Devil’s Triangle is worth hitting too.

That kinda looks like fancy "camping". Looks cool but I am looking for A/C and a hot shower in my room.

I live in Western North Carolina in Haywood county. Maggie Valley is your place to stay for everything you've mentioned.

We like to stay at Two Rivers, half way between Bryson City, and Cherokee. https://tworiverslodgenc.com/
Bryson City has a good selection of restaurants, and such, plus it's an easy ride to the area's great roads.
