I know. I know. It's just a tough decision. But I think I'm gonna wind up gettin' a new bike. I just have to crunch some numbers and figure out if it's worth it or not. I know my butt and back are liking the idea of a new bike, but my eyes aren't right at the moment. I have to come up with a good vision for a new bike to completely convince myself of the idea.

That is a VERY bright side! One day I'll add one to the garage, but I don't want one as my primary bike. I'll let the geezers buy them up.

I could only find settings for my FuelPak for a stock ECM, so I got on the V&H website and found one. I plugged the new codes in, and so far it seems to be running even better. I guess the HD dealer did the Stage 1 ECM re-map when theprevious ownerput the pipes and SE Stage 1 A/C on it. We'll see how it keeps running.

Awesome. That's the one thing that sucks about buying a used bike. You never know exactly what was done to it before you bought it. Hopefully you got everything figured out now.

After talkin' to the Mrs., I'm gonna go talk numbers at the dealership after work. I don't want to do anything until I know which exhaust I would put on it, though, because I don't want to ride around sounding like Simcom. Do any of you know anything about thefuel management systemsthat allow you to bypass the O2 sensors? I found an exhaust I like, but it says it requires the O2 sensor bypass kit. I'm just wondering how it would affect the motor. I'm gonna make a post in the Softail section as well.

I wonder if that thing has a cd player?
He could burn a cd of Harley exhaust sounds and play it real loud.
But then he wouldn't have a stealth bike anymore. I think it's pretty slick that Harley designed a whisper mode.

If you like the pipes enough, I bet a good fabricator could weld you some o2 bungs on.
That's the way I'd go. prolly get it done for a hundred bucks or so..

BUNGHOLIO!
