It was a fun time till we ran up on all the cars. We'll have to do some more of those rides. I swung by WalMart tonight and saw Kerberos and the Mrs getting gas, out riding their scoots together. I guess he made it home in time and she wasn't too upset!
Yeah, her first trip out in traffic.. She's been practicing on an unused runway. I'm really impressed by how fast she caught on. Once I get the right adjustable passenger pegs, me, her, and the boy will be cruising the backroads together. Can't wait!

When she gets comfortable enough, she is always welcome to ride with us. We don't always ride like we did Saturday morning. That was just us out having some fun in the twisties.

After thinking about it some more and changing my mind back and forth, I think sometime in the near future I am gonna trade in the Deuce. I'm gonna get a vivid black Softail Custom. I'm in no big hurry to do so, though. It'll probably be something that's done in the off season. After sitting on it at the dealership, I started thinking about how much more comfortable it was and I also liked the larger motor and fatter rear tire. The part of my Deuce that sets it apart from the rest is the paint job. I can and plan to get another paint job for the Custom. So after a little bit of time, I'll have it lookin' just as good, if not better, than the Deuce. I just need to throw together a list of parts and start running with a vision for it. If you guys know of anyone who might be interested in buying my bike, let me know. I could wind up changing my mind again. Who knows... That's why I'm not runnin' out this week to get the new bike. I want to make sure I've completely thought it through.

How much do you want for it? I have a buddy at work that's looking at getting a bike here in the next few months.

I really don't know. I haven't thought about it. What do you think is reasonable?

NADA = $14,714
Kelley Blue Book = $14,860

These prices are pretty much stock. So, with all the chrome, and custom paint, I don't see why $16,000 - $16,500 would be hard to get.

I'd probably ask $16.5-17k for it. The aircleaner and GPS would not go with the bike, though. I have another Stage 1 aircleaner that I would put back on it that has a custom Harley aircleaner cover. It's the one I had on it before I made the change during Myrtle Beach Bike Week. I'd give some extra parts with it too. I have the stock rear wheel I polished up with Mothers Aluminum Polish, and the stock seat would go with it too. I think I have some other stuff, also, but I'm not sure what all I have.
