Caesars Head Saturday (Aug 11th)

RE: Caesars Head Saturday (Aug 11th)
I had another thought. I was thinking about maybe joining the dark side. But not the bagger type of dark side. I was thinking along the lines of a Night Train. What do you think of that idea? I would going a completely different route for customizing than I did for the Deuce. The reason why I started thinking about another bike again is because after talking to the painter, he recommended that I don't put a backrest on my bike because it would mess up the paint. So if Mrs Live2Ride doesn't want to ride her bike on long trips, but needs a backrest, I'm gonna have to get something else.

Man, you wake up too damn early for a Saturday. The problem with gettin' a Night Train is that my favorite color in it is the same color you got. The Crimson Red Denim is growin' on me, though. I might just need to see it in person. I've been tryin' to think of what I can do to customize it so it doesn't look like every other Train out there. It almost seems to make a Night Train not look like ever other Night Train, you have to chrome it all out. And then you wind up with a Softail Custom! That's definitely not what I want to do, though. Just makin' a point. Wanted to clarify that before jumps on me for talkin' about chromin' out a Train.

I like what Mark (orangecrush) did with his. You could follow that as an example.
I have 2 big dogs, and they have internal clocks. They wake me up at 6:00 every morning, whether I want to get up or not. It does suck, but I'm used to it. That's why I need to go to bed early at night!!

On the weekends we let our two bulldogs sleep outside their kennels. We're trying to get them used to not sleeping in them, but they just think when they see us lay down it's play time and won't let us go to sleep. When they're out of their kennels, they wake us up in the morning. Dixie, our female, will come up and lick myface to wake me up. And Maverick, our male, will come and bite my arm to wake me up. Both of them start doing that around 6:30-7:00.

It was a fun time till we ran up on all the cars. We'll have to do some more of those rides. I swung by WalMart tonight and saw Kerberos and the Mrs getting gas, out riding their scoots together. I guess he made it home in time and she wasn't too upset!
