Just got back!! Absolutely no popping or backfiring on decel in any gear. I can actually use the engine brake more now, and not worry about someone thinking I shot off a gun. What a huge difference!!
As far as Saturday goes, I can follow you up to your parent's if you don't want to have to turn around and come all the way back. We can make our way up 14 or 101 to 11, then over to 276. It's up to you, may save some time.

That would work following us over to my parents'. We can go the way you mentioned or take Pelham out to Pleasantburg and head out that way. It doesn't matter to me which way we go. All depends on what kinda ride you wanna do.

I'm gonna have to ride in tomorrow 'cause I'm takin' my bike by Hot Rod Grafixxx when I get off work. It was miserable riding home this afternoon. It felt like someone had a blow dryer in front of my face the whole time. My face felt hard and cooked when I came to a stop. It actually felt better to be stopped and just sit there in the sun, than it did to have the hot air blowing on me.

One of the banks I rode by this afternoon said
106 degrees and on the Ultra I felt fine. I guess
if you had a fairing you would have not felt so
bad!................

Yes the map looks good back into SC. I want to check out the Saluda grade also. Ive heard its a nice climb. Ive been ridin in the 215/276 area some but not into SC. The Parkway is real nice too but havent run it much in this area just back north into Virginia. Yall have a good ride and be safe. Dont run over them ricerockets.I got to try and meet 211Chuck.Hes just up the road from me. I stay in Laurel Banks Campground on 276alongside the Pigeon river.
