I think the PCIII does bypass it, but they haven't come out with a Power Commander for the '08s yet. When my dad was talking to them about getting one for his Ultra, they said the EPA caused some changes to be made to the fuel injectors so the Power Commanders for the '07s won't work on the '08s.

I don't know if any of the aftermarket EFI controllers will be ready for 08's yet. You may have to go with the SERT, but I don't know if it has O2 sensor eliminators or not.

That's exactly why my dad went with the SERT. I'm gonna hate riding with a quiet bike. It seems every exhaust I like would require the O2 bypass.

Doesn't V&H have O2 sensors? Or, are you going ina different direction?

There are no aftermarket fuel managers for 08's out so far. The PCIII is not a closed loop system. It does not bypass the o2 sensors. The DTT and Thundermax will.

The 08's have a completely different ECM due to the electronic throttle.

y'all keep busting on the road couch and I'm not gonna let you carry beer in my saddle bags.

I was lookin' at Hooker, Martin Bros, and Bassani. I think I'm gonna pass on V&H this time. I'm wantin' something a little more custom this go around. I was thinking about getting a black exhaust. If possible, I want to get something with both black and chrome in it. If I wind up with a Softail Custom, they're a dime a dozen. So I'm gonna have to things a little different to make it stand out from the crowd. Also, the Mrs ok'd me getting it custom painted this winter, so that will definitely make it stand out more.

I like some of Paul Yaffe's designs. I doubt he has anything for 08's yet though. I really like his Phantom Pipes.

That's one of the sets I was lookin' at. It says they only go up through '06. That means they would require the O2 bypass.

Be innovative. Don't run any pipes at all.
