Anybody know anything about this? Happened yesterday 8-2-07.

Nine people were injured Thursday night in a Gastonia (N.C.) crash involving a car and five motorcycles.
The crash took place about 10 p.m. on West Garrison Boulevard at Clay Street.
Police say the five motorcycles were traveling in a group when they were struck by a car. There is no indication if any of the drivers might have been at fault.
Police are still investigating the wreck today, but there are no reports on any charges or citations being issued.
One of the victims was critically injured, according to reports from two Charlotte TV stations this morning.

Four of the motorcycle riders were stopped on Clay Street just before 10 p.m., waiting for a fifth rider to catch up to them, Brice said. As the fifth rider joined the others, the car struck all five motorcycles, ran over a curb, flattened a stop sign and struck a fence post at the corner of the intersection, Brice said.

 

That is horrible. Hard enough to keep 800# + bikes up, don't need cagers running all over us. I hope everyone ends up ok, but I do wonder if the cage driver was either alcohol impaired or talking on a cell? Prayers will go out to them.
