I'm not to familiar with Asheville. I figure at the intersection of 74a and the BRP. If anyone knows of a gas station in this area.. please chime in.

Looking at the map... I see where 74a meets 74, right above the BRP, there's quite afew business'. This looks to be a better place to stop for fuel and meet up. The BRP and 74 have nothing around them.

Thanks...I'll wait for you where your exit from 74 enters the BRP, above 74.
I"ll do my best to be there at exactly 10AM EST.

I'll have to re-fuel at least once during the ride and it has to be at least 93 octane.
Maybe I'llhide some Oct-boost just in case...

wisemx,

Our meeting is at 9am (at Rt.9 & 11) and the trip to Asheville is around 50 miles through some decent twistie roads. I figure an hour to get to Asheville. I could be wrong but we'll play it by ear.10 is a "guesstimated" time. It can be a little after or a little before. No worries. As long as we have contact, we should be ok.

Well, I am without bike still. The guys working on it are now having a problem w/ their dyno, they can't get support on the weekends from Dynojet and so it will probably be Tuesday before they can get anything done on it. Also, that is assuming that it didn't get hit by lightning and some part has to be sent out to California to be worked on. They guy offered to get it running better and me just bring it back when the dyno is back up but Dang, that place is 80 miles round trip and that's just to much of a pita to make happen. SSSSSOOOOOOOOOO, I will hopefully have it back next saturday.

On another note, I was just coming back from lunch and I saw Live2Ride, Blade and simcom sitting at the light at the intersection of butler and laurns road. Live2Ride's paint job is what caught my attention, cool bike.

Ok, we made a short run today and grabbed some lunch. We are planning to have kickstands up at 8:30. Where do you suggest we meet?

If you can make it to Rt.9 and Rt.11 at 9:00 am.. that would be great simcom. We can all leave that location and head to Asheville to meet with wisemx.

If you would like, I can PM you my cell number.

In mapquest.. use "City: New Prospect / State: SC" Hit enter. That should do it.
