For anyone checking the threat for the ride today. Im gonna head out from Glenville NC @ 0830 hrs and get on the BRP at Balsam Gap near Waynesville NC and head east toward Hwy 276. I have to be back home at 2:30 to attend a BBQ so I will time my situation to that. I'll pull over at a copuple overlooks if I see bikes. Don't wait for me anywhere.

Dennis and laurie, good to see y'all again, maybe we can get everythingworked out, mopar and ridgerunner, same goes for y'all cept mayeb next time I'll actually SEEy'all, if that is some some SiLly person starts being on time!!!! We had to wait on soemone AGAIN today. Snort picked him up so he was only an HOUR late! hahahahahahhaThe day ended up with 8 bikes! What a crowd, I'll post some pics later,,,, HDF was represented well on the ride with Snort, SiLly, lturford and ******.
DennisS and his wife Laurie grew tired of waiting on someSiLly person,2 days in a row for a total of about 3 SiLly hours total.
I got home with a grand total of 245 miles for the day. I'm sure Lee and Richard are gonna have close to 500!

 

I got up to Hwy 276 and BRP about 11am..hung around at the parking lot there at the Cold Mtn view awhile ....shot the breeze with whoever stopped bythen just road around a few miles on each side of 276 on the BRP.....finally started home from Hwy 276 at 1:15 PM.....had to get back for a BBQ...sorry I missed you guy's.....maybe better luck in the future..

 

Dang, I believe we were at 276 and the BRP, Overlook, at 1:30! We got wet! Dried off, got wet again, then dried off again, all between 276 and 23/74 on the Parkway.

 

I was trying to out run the rain heading back to Sylva..I got a few drops on me but I out ran it. Sounds like we just missed each other. Too bad.

 

Yep next time, and them damn tar Snakes on Culowhee Mtn road are HUGE!
