Anyone going to the Okeechobee ( Fl.) Bike fest May 26/27 ?

 

I was planning on going but I'm not sure now. I rode around the lake last weekend and the bike & I came back completely plastered with LoveBugs. I guess I'll wait and see if they have disappeard by then. [:@]

 

I thought about it but looked into it and it didn't seem like much was going on. have you been there? Is it worth a look? I might go if it looks like it will be a good time.

 

I went the first year and it wasn't that great. It was really small and pretty much just the typical vendors you'd find at any local bike night.

 

Have a group riding on Sunday AM from Bradenton. Doing more for the ride than the rally destination. I have heard as well that it is prettysmall. Planning on breakfast on the way to the lake and dinner inSebring/Avon Park on the way back. If the Love Bugs are finished it should be a great ride. If not it will just be a messy one.

 

Theres an excellent little place in Lake Placid for eating and a few beers, there's also an excellent bar on st rt 27 thats very biker friendly if anyone wants to meet up.
